Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Kwara state chapter has sent out invitations to youth teams across the state to register their teams for the 14th edition of the Kwara state Commissioner of Police Cup which comes up between July 10 and August 31 this year.
The competition will hold in two categories of U-13 and U-17, with each team expected to register 20 players and two officials. However, the statement warned all the teams to present more than 20 players for screening, as players screened out will not be replaced and not be regarded as part of the team.
For the U-17 competition, the teams are expected to register platers that will be 17years of age as at July 31, 2021, with body weight not more than 60kg and maximum height of 1.78m. In the U-13 competition, players registered should not weight more than 48kg, and maximum height of 1.52m.
A statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Prince Ademola Kiyesola and the Secretary, Wahab Ayinde, registration fee for U- 17 teams attract N15, 000, while that of U-13 teams attract N10,000.
While directing all payments to the Secretariat of YSFON on or before July 15, the statement urged all clubs to strictly abide by the age limits and rules of the competitions.
