“Added to all these is the renovation, upgrading and building of new sports infrastructure in the state, all of which has raised the stakes in the growth of sports.
Ezealaji, whose Store, nicknamed “The New name in sports equipment” is selling varieties of sports kits and equipment at the Stadium, both wholesale and retail, also added that the drive has broadened sports participation in the state, with virtually all athletes from Sports Associations having the opportunity to fly the state’s flag in national competitions.
“The re-introduction of the State Sports Festival (KWASFES) has helped in galvanising participation from the grassroots, and as well, the support to the state to participate in the National Youth Games in Ilorin and the National Sports Festival in Edo has no doubt opened new developmental opportunities.
Ezealaji also commended the state government for it’s support to Kwara United FC, especially the recent donation of new bus to the team, which he said, is also now being managed by another professional, Kumbi Titiloye.
