The management of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, have renewed the contract of its Technical Adviser, Jerome Igbankwe, for another year.
The Club’s Director of Football, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka disclosed this on Friday December 7, 2023, in Ilorin, while briefing newsmen after a management meeting.
Chief Chukwuemeka said Igbankwe did very well last season, hence the reason the management decided to renew his contract as contained in the initial agreement.
According to him, the club played 18 matches in the league and won seven, drew six and lost five matches scoring 24 goals in the process.
The ABS Director of Football, also announced that the team will resume for the new season on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, while the players are expected to resume on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, for training ahead of the co.mencement of the Nigeria NationalLeague season.
