*Organisers Roll Out Fixtures
The much anticipated ‘Kwara Made Us’ five-a-side football tournament will kickoff today, Tuesday, 19th December inside the Indoor Sports Hall hall of the Kwara State Stadium Complex Ilorin.
The Kwara Made US is a project of AMAPRO Africa Development Program and Phreestyle Sport Limited aimed to honour Kwara State’s impact on fostering opportunities and providing sustainable platforms for indigenes and non indigenes.
Preliminaries of the week-long soccer fiesta will begin today with thirty six (36) teams jostling for the top crown.
House of Prayer FA will take on Shinning Stars FA in the first game billed to kick start by 8am, Dynamic FA will tackle Beulah FC, 360 FC will go head to head against Gnosis Stallion FA, Corporate Ballers A and Oloyode FC will file out in the fourth game.
Other fixtures include, Barrier FA vs Delmerk FA, Young Antlers FC vs Elite Athletis, Makamz FA Vs Waziri FC, Nationwide vs Dickalo FA, Kinshood FC vs Koller FA, Al-mubarq FC Otte vs Gaa Akanbi FC, Achievers FA Vs Young Talent FC, Barca Kiddies Vs De-Ultimate, Oscar FC vs Olunlade FC, Flash Bombers FC vs Vision FC, Pelvic SC vs Future Stars SA, Convent FC Vs Phoenix Flayers, Bashmed FC vs YK Super Stars, Surprise FA Vs Corporate Ballers B.
According to Shogo Shodunnke, the Brainbehind the initiative, he said the aim is to use sports as a tool for youths development and empowerment.
The Kwara Made Us Five-A-side Tourney is the first of its kind to be hosted in Kwara State.
The tournament will be played between the 19th – 23rd of December 2023 inside the Indoor of the Kwara State Stadium Complex.
