Kwara State Sports Commission commends Judo Association

The Executive Chairman of  the Kwara state Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji has commended the Kwara Judo Association for organising the just concluded maiden edition of the Kwara Inter -Local Government Judo Championship held in the Indoor Sports Hall of the state Sports Commission.
Mogaji particularly appreciated the efforts of the Association for taking the bull by horn to stage the three- day Championship, assuring them of the Commission’s support.
Meanwhile Segun Alade carted home the first prize of the 73kg category male event, beating Abdukareem Kamulu to the second position, while Abdulkadir Ibrahim and Muraina Abubakar settled for the joint third position.
The Female 52kg category was won by Musilimat Abdullahi, Usman Sulihat second and Abdulazeez Zainab, James Opeyemi, joint third.
In the Male 50kg category, Ibrahim Ismail came first, Abubakar Azeez second and Taiwo Saheed, James Goodluck  joint third.
Shittu Muraina snatched the first prize in the Male 36kg category, beating Ibrahim Isiaq to the second position and Ahmed Fatai, Jidadh Mujib joint third.
The Female 32kg category’s first prize went to Yessera Usman, Kadijat Kazeem second and Sulyman Kadijat, Yusuf Zainab joint third.
The Male 28kg category first position went to Alaya Moshood, Kalid Abdukadir second while Usman Abdulmumini came third.
The Championship was supported by the Nigeria Judo Federation, ESS Project Concept, Seap Water, KazoLinks, Sportspro news, Kwara State Television, Kwara Football Academy and Lubcon Limited.
