Kwara United receives lecture on laws of the game

Ahead of the commencement of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, players and officials of Kwara United Football Club will be tutored on the new amendments to the laws of the game tomorrow, December 23, 2020.

The team will also be lectured on the conducts required of them on the field of play, especially, before, during and after a game.

The lecture has been scheduled for the Conference Room of the Kwara State Sports Council, from 3.00pm, and former Registrar of the University of Ilorin, Emmanuel Dada Obafemi will be the resource person.

The former referee, a FIFA-badged, became FIFA Referee Instructor after his retirement. He is also a seasoned administrator.

Kwara United Football Club will begin their campaign in the new season against Plateau United in Jos, on Sunday.

Kwara United Football Club’s first home match will be against Enyimba FC of Aba, before they jet out to Port Harcourt, to play Rivers United in Week Three.
