The partnership was consummated today, Saturday September 12th, 2026, at the Club’s Secretariat in Ilorin, with Chowdeck unveiled as the club’s shirt sponsor.

Under the agreement, Chowdeck’s logo will feature prominently on the front of Kwara United’s jersey throughout the ongoing NPFL campaign, while the partnership will also extend to other areas of the club’s matchday and digital operations.

Speaking at the unveiling, Chowdeck’s Head of Operations, Nasir Umar, who grew up in Ilorin, described the partnership as an honour and an opportunity to reconnect with the state through his company.

Kwara United Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, welcomed Chowdeck into the club’s family, stressing that the partnership would go beyond shirt sponsorship.

“We are partnering with Chowdeck as our shirt sponsor and partner, and they are also going to get involved in matchday tickets and so many other things that will come around it.

“I must tell you that, due to the symbiotic relationship between Kwara United and the Commission, the Executive Chairman was able to introduce Chowdeck to Kwara United.

“We welcome Chowdeck and we hope this relationship will grow from strength to strength.”

Also speaking, Kwara State Football Association Chairman, Idris Abdullahi Musa Thuraya, described sponsorship and partnerships as vital to the growth and sustainability of football.
