NBBF Final 8: Falcons condemn Pillars to defeat, faces Gombe Bulls tomorrow

A much improve display from Kwara Falcons gave them two wins from two games at the ongoing Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) Men’s League Final Eight holding in Lagos, as they defeated Kano Pillars today by 65 – 58 points.

Falcons led from start to finish with the duo of Tolani Buhari and Victor Eze notching 17points, 4 rebounds and 17pionts, 5 rebounds respectively.

Coach Baba Jubril’s side carried a 4 point lead into the break and extended the lead to 5 at the end of the third quarter, followed by a strong offense to establish a 13 points lead before the end of the contest.

Dele Ademola laid 12points, 7 rebounds while Dike Azouma contribute 10points, 7 rebounds for Kano Pillars who have lost one of the two games.

Kwara Falcons will attempt a third win on a stretch when they face Gombe Bulls tomorrow Wednesday November 9th, 2022, by 2.00pm.

Kwara Falcons Basketball Club are progressing positively in the Final Eight haven earlier beaten Benue Braves 65 – 58 points at the opening game, as the Coach Baba Jubril side went into the contest in fine form following the annual bullet basketball championship win.

Kwara Falcons had emerged victorious at the 2022 Annual Bullet Basketball Championship held at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos following a 69 – 67 points win against Warlords on Sunday evening.
