NFF passes vote of confidence on Kwara FA

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has described the level of football organisation in Kwara as commendable following a trip to Ilorin over the weekend.

Led by the Chairman of Chairmen of the NFF, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, the delegation also included Chairman Technical, Yusuf Ahmed Fresh, Alhaji Rabiu Sharif (Chairman Referees’ Committee) and Mohammed Alkali (Chairman, NLO), all discussed the development of football in Kwara and how NFF can assist member associations in aligning with best practices as well as international standard.

The Executive members expressed delight at seeing the progress the state FA, led by Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa has been making at different levels, since assuming the mantle of leadership at the FA.

They also applauded the solid steps taken by the FA to consistently improve football in the state.

Talks was also centered around the importance of Football Association and the critical stakeholders, especially working together in the spirit of cooperation and solidarity for the benefit of development.

Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa in his reaction, commended the NFF delegate for their commitment, dexterity and cooperation in assisting the Kwara FA in tackling peculiar issues to scientifically harness the development of football, while pledging full support to the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF.

The contingent, accompanied by members of the State FA and other stakeholders, including High Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, Executive Secretary, Club Owners Association, Bola Mogaji, Chairman, Kwara State Sports Commission, Dr. Steve Olarinoye, Director General, Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Tunde Kazeem, Chief Executive Officer, Kazolink Sports Ltd, Bashir Badawiy, the General Manager, Kwara United FC, amongst others.

They were all honoured with commemorative medals at the final of a six-a-side female football competition organised by Chief Mrs Olaoye Abimbola, Member of Kwara FA Women Football Development Committee, and at the final of AMAPRO Football Championship put together by FIFA Certified Administrator, Shogo Shodunnke.
