Sancho issues fresh statement over future as Man U circle

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho admits it is “hard to say” where his future lies, as speculation over a move to Manchester United intensifies.

The 20-year-old has recently finished his best season in front of goal, scoring 20 goals and assisting 20 others.

Reports heavily linked Sancho with a move to Old Trafford last summer but such talk has ramped up this term.

Indeed, his price tag in a coronavirus-impacted market remains unclear, although Dortmund have insisted that he is still worth over £100million.

Speaking in the August issue of the World Soccer Magazine, Sancho made a fresh statement when asked about the speculation, which includes reported interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea too.

“I don’t know what to say to that,” he said. “It’s hard to say. That’s the future.

“You never know what could happen, so we will wait and see.”

Sancho also revealed how several great names including former Red John Barnes have inspired his family.

“My dad was a big fan of John Barnes,” Sancho added. “He had a couple of videos of him at home and I used to watch them a lot.
