Kwara United unveils 22Bet partnership ahead of new season

Kwara United Football Club today, Friday December9th, 2022, signed a one year trial partnership deal with 22Bet, in an attempt to complement the huge investment of the state government towards the development of the club.

Speaking after signing the deal at the Club’s Secretariat in Ilorin, the Chairman of the Club, Clement Kumbi Titiloye said that the club is signing the deal, the second so far, in a bid to create additional financial and revenue windows, to reduce the burden of running the club on government.

Kwara United had earlier signed a deal with an ilorin based outfit, Dickalo Water Company, early this year.

While congratulating the Marketing Department of the club for sealing the deal with 22Bet, he explaining that with the partnership, fans and lovers of the club would enjoy not only value for money in terms of play, but will benefit materials in terms of support services

Titiloye commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for supporting the club in all ramifications, pointing out that the his non interference in the club’s activities has greatly assisted the team in it’s operations.

He affirmed that the partnership deal is in line with the philosophy of the club which is based on accuracy, movement and goals, which the club stands for, and that the deal is also geared towards improving revenue base of the state government atvthe long run.

He appealed to 22Bet to, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, renovate and brand the team’s training pitch, to further boost the leverage they will derive from the union with the club.

The Marketing Manager of the 22Bet, Mr Adebayo Olusegun Ajala commended the club for its strides last season, especially in the CAF Continental competition, noting that Kwara United is the first NPFL Club in the country that 22Bet is signing a deal with.

He said that the partnership entails branding and promotion of the club as a unique entity that will be reckoned with in the NPFL.

Mr Olusegun, who said that 22Bet is elated to be part of Kwara United family, pointed out that the club’s impressive performance and exploit in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and CAF Confederation Cup motivated 22Bet to partner the club.

Also speaking, the Director Marketing of 22Bet, Mr Babalola Oladapo stressed that the deal with Harmony Boys is the beginning of good things to unfold between the betting company and the team, describing Kwara United as one of the best in the NPFL.

Kwara United Lawyer, Barrister A. J. Edun, while coordinating the signing of the deal said that all legal angles in the partnership has been carefully taken care of.

The Marketing Manager of Kwara United, Ganiyu Balogun, who was a former player for the club said that the club has a rich history that can be leveraged upon by companies and outfits seeking a real brand, adding that more opportunities will soon be unveiled.
