The Captain of the U20 national team, the Flying Eagles, Yahaya Ibrahim Sulaiman has described Kwara United as a club with great ambition and motivator of youthful players.

Why reacting to questions as to why he joined the club, Yahaya, who was one of the new players in the camp of Kwara United said that he joined the Ilorin-based club because it’s a club that cares about the career, welfare and wellbeing of players, adding that he cherished the opportunity of playing for the team, especially at this time.

“I have had a lot about the club, and the first thing that interests a player about a club is playing time, which is crucial to your career, as well as welfare, which will assist you to always put in your best.

The former Wikki Tourists player, who couldn’t make it to the U20 AFCON with the Flying Eagles due to injury also said that he was being motivated to join the club because of the caliber of players in the team, and the pedigree of the handler, Coach Kabir Sulaiman Dogo, whom he said he has worked with while in Wikki Tourist.

“Kwara United is a big team with the potential of making it to the Super Six, as well as making it to the Continental competition this season. And its every player’s dream to play in big competitions.

The attacking midfielder joined Kwara United FC from Gombe United FC.

“This is another big opportunity for me, and I promise to prove myself”, he added.
